Children with Turner syndrome is likely to show inappropriate behaviors such as aggression and inattention as a problem solving strategy, especially in social situations with peers and siblings. Literature indicates that their problem behaivor could be improved through appropriate training. In this study, behavior intervention (e.g., token economy, differential reinforcement for other behaviors) was implemented for a 8 year old girl with Turner syndrome and her twin sister to reduce their aggressive behaviors and promote prosocial behaviors. Three weeks after the intervention, the frequency of problematic behaviors was decreased and prosocial behaviors were increased. Possible reasons, implications and limitation of the therapeutic effect were discussed.
